It has been a long time between posts. My son has been borrowing my camera for long stretches, limiting my abiity to share new projects. Added to that has been a serious bout with poison ivy (courtesy of my cats) and subsequent prednisone taper have left me feeling under par. But I am making slow progress towards setting up my jewelry studio and wanted to share a peek at the girls. I love creating these little glass collages, some angels, some little girls and at least one wee wizard.
Their appearance means that I finally got my second hand kiln to work and figured out a tack-fuse schedule. I still need a grinder to smooth their edges and then refire them one last time. And even though I love looking at them as a group (they just make me smile), my plan is to send them out into the world. Look for them to be up on Etsy in a couple of weeks, available either as a pin or pendant.
